What is the Annual Meeting in Davos?
The Annual Meeting in Davos brings together heads of state, chief executives, investors, and civil society leaders in Davos, Switzerland each January. The 2027 meeting takes place 18 to 22 January. Much of the value happens outside the official Congress Centre, across private dinners, salons, and bilateral meetings held throughout the town during the week.
How do you get invited to Davos?
There are a few paths. One is an official invitation from the meeting's organisers, reserved for members, partners, and select figures, which we do not arrange. Separately, an independent operator like The Davos Cabinet facilitates a Secure Hotel Badge and builds its own curated programme of events, receptions, and dinners during Davos week. We focus entirely on the latter: our own independent hospitality, organised around your objectives. We do not place guests into the official Annual Meeting, its sessions, or its delegate programme.
Can you attend Davos without official accreditation?
Yes. A large share of the week's most valuable conversations happen at private dinners, salons, and hosted events that do not require an official badge. With a Secure Hotel Badge and a curated calendar, you can have a highly productive week in Davos without being accredited to the Congress Centre.
What did the programme look like in 2026, and where does it take place in 2027?
The independent programme our clients join ran a breakout year in 2026, with programming across defense, artificial intelligence, investment, leadership, culture, and mental health. Senior government leaders, including past prime ministers, have attended the programme's gatherings across its editions, alongside chief executives of some of the world's largest companies and decision-makers from leading technology, artificial intelligence, and venture capital firms. Its stages hosted a former chair of the NATO Military Committee, a former UK Chief of the Defence Staff, senior executives from a leading defense-software company and a commercial space-station company, the founder of one of artificial intelligence's defining education platforms, the chief executive of a major robotics company, and a senior figure from a global sovereign investor, and senior government leaders delivered addresses across the week. For Davos week 2027 the programme expands to a full-week footprint at the Grand Belvedere Hotel, an access-controlled secure hotel during the week, with Salon Atlantis secured for the entire week and programming that runs across the full week: Monday opens the calendar, Tuesday covers defense and AI, Wednesday covers leadership and capital convening family offices, venture capital funds, institutional investors, and global asset managers, an audience the programme expects to represent more than USD 500 billion in assets, Thursday covers longevity and human performance, and Friday closes the week. These are some of the events and rooms we place clients into during the week, among others across our own programme and the wider independent calendar. The audience is the point. Senior government leaders and chief executives of some of the world's largest companies have anchored the programme's rooms, and the 2027 week is being built to the same calibre. This is the independent programme we place clients into. It is not part of the official Annual Meeting programme, and it does not include access to the official Annual Meeting, its sessions, or its delegates.
How do private events and dinners at Davos work?
Throughout the week, many organisations run their own private dinners, salons, and receptions across Davos, most of them invitation-only and unpublicized. The Davos Cabinet runs its own independent programme of events, receptions, and dinners during the week, and builds your calendar around what we host and invite you to. We do not sell access to other organisations' events or to the official Annual Meeting.

What is a Davos Secure Hotel Badge?
A Secure Hotel Badge grants access to the secured-zone hotels in Davos during the Annual Meeting, where much of the week's private programming takes place. It is distinct from official accreditation. Issuance requires a background verification by the Swiss police, which our team manages on your behalf.
What are the different badges and types of access at Davos?
Access at Davos runs on several layers. There is official accreditation, the badges the meeting's organisers issue to members and invited participants. There is the Secure Hotel Badge, which grants access to secured-zone hotels and their private programming. And there is a wide range of private event invitations that require no official badge at all. Most productive weeks are built from the second and third layers rather than the Congress Centre floor.
What is the Swiss police background check for Davos?
Each Secure Hotel Badge requires a background verification conducted by the Swiss police before the badge is issued. Our team manages the submission, documentation, and timing so the process is handled for you. Final approval rests with the regional police and is confirmed at badge pickup in Davos.

The earlier the better. Secured-zone hotel inventory, private event allocations, and verification windows all tighten as January approaches, and the most limited access sells first. Planning for the January 2027 meeting is best begun in the preceding spring or summer.

Is Davos worth attending?

A well-designed week of targeted meetings and private dinners can compress months of business development. An unstructured trip, by contrast, can be expensive and aimless, which is the problem a concierge solves.

Where do you stay during Davos?
Accommodation ranges from secured-zone hotels in the heart of the action to properties in the surrounding valley and nearby towns such as Klosters. Inventory is extremely limited during the meeting and prices rise sharply closer to the dates. We secure priority accommodations for confirmed guests.
What does a Davos concierge do?
A Davos concierge handles the operational side of the week: securing the Hotel Badge and accommodations, building a day-by-day itinerary, hosting a curated programme of private events and dinners, coordinating ground transport, and making introductions within its own network. The aim is a week that is fully arranged before you arrive.
